BLUE DEVICE Co.,Ltd.
Blue Device is a KAIST faculty-founded technology company established in 2022, specializing in eco-friendly surface engineering solutions for display and solar applications.
The company has developed a proprietary non-coating, non-film dry-etching process that directly textures glass and polymer surfaces without using hydrofluoric acid (HF). This approach overcomes the limitations of conventional wet etching and coating-based methods, offering a safer, more sustainable, and highly precise alternative.
Blue Device’s technology enhances visibility, durability, and optical performance, while supporting 3D curved geometries and large-area glass, making it well suited for scalable mass production.
Beyond anti-glare technology, Blue Device positions itself as a total solution provider for display cover glass, delivering integrated capabilities across surface treatment, 2D/3D/UTG glass processing, precision printing, lamination, and decorative window solutions—from raw substrate to finished cover glass modules.
The company is currently in late-stage validation with global customers, with mass-production lines scheduled to be operational in 2025, targeting display, e-paper, automotive, and solar markets.
